The Scorpios was a cruising boat which held daily excursions around the north western coast of Crete. After several years she was taken out of service and moored in Rethymnon. In 2005 it was decided to sail her to Georgioupoli for repairs. It was on this trip when the boat sank in 25 meters of water.

Today the Scorpios is one of our beautiful clear water dives where many forms of aquatic life have made their home in and around her 18 meter hull, which is still fully intact and visible from the surface.

The wreck of the Scorpios is located only 5 minutes away by boat from our center in Petres and makes for a very enjoyable dive with many photo opportunities.
